This agricultural scholarship is established in memory of two best friends, Louis Dacca and Fred Bevegni, Sr., whose Italian families were early farming settlers in the Fife Valley in the early 1900's. Having both graduated from Fife High School in 1932, these two hard working individuals had a rich heritage in farming and agriculture and went on to be successful in their respective businesses, but also community leaders who were unequivocal examples of civility, support for youth, and respect for others.
